I am a new user of HDP, am trying to install HDP 2.2 on Windows 2012, I followed the document step by step but I got failed. Following are my steps and the error, please let me know if there is any step I missed.
The error I got: “installation failed. C:\hadoopinstallfiles\hadoopsetuptools\hdp2-2.0″
The problem is, there is no hadoopinstallfiles fold been created, no error log at all. I must miss some step right?
1. windows 2012 in domain environment
2. enabled ports; check IPV4 is preferred
3. installed Python, Java JDK, .NET framework, the C++ 2010 has default installed on Windows 2012 with a newer version, so I didn’t install it.
4. setup PATH for Python and Java
5. run the install package
