i found the solution myself. I had to set up “port forwarding” on theOracle VM VirtualBox.

Versant, to answer your question.
It is possible to install the sandbox on 4GB machine (2 GB RAM assigned to VM), but
your hard drive will go crazy from time to time.

Even more if you want to also enable Hbase. Working on 2 GB will actually
shut it down from time to time and you will have to restart it manully.

Dont even bother enabling “Amber” with 2 GB.

I upgraded my laptop from 4GB to 8GB and life is much better now:)
