Thank you for your response. I had manually installed the agents. After searching through the forum I did find a case where someone had a similar problem. After reviewing my hosts file on the Ambari server I simply had to remove some extra entries for localhost7… and any IP6 formatted addresses. That cleared everything up. All services installed without any problems after that modification.
