Upgrade from HDP 2.0 to HDP 2.2

Hi, I am trying to upgrade HDP 2.0 to HDP 2.2 by following this guide : http://docs.hortonworks.com/HDPDocuments/Ambari-1.7.0.0/AMBARI_DOC_SUITE/index.html#Item4
But its not clear that , do i have to first upgrade HDP stack and then upgrade my old ambari to new or vice versa.
