Block size invalid or too large for this implementation: -40

hi there,

using the sandbox I’m getting more and more of this error both with hive and pig:

Block size invalid or too large for this implementation: -40

I’m almost not able to run queries in hive (even sample querie on tabes with few data) or script in pig.

I searched a lot forums and blog on the internet but there is not a “clear” solution to this.

Has this anything to do with the amount of RAM dedicated to each component in the Hortonwork sandbox ?

thanks for any help …. quite stuck here and not able to run even the simpliest tutorials.
