I noticed that my logs issues an out of memory as final part of the log just before advising of a duplicate library existance for slf4j in (occuring in hive and base hadoop) so I unzipped /usr/hdp/2.2.0.0-2041/hive/lib/hive-jdbc-0.14.0.2.2.0.0-2041-standalone.jar and deleted all slf4j files and then rezipped it without recompiling (jar uses zip) and I’ve had it stand up for over 24 hours with no error.
