Ambari hangs when attempting to install an HDP2.2 STORM service.
It appears the a url map file is incorrect –
I believe HortonWorks needs to fix this file:
http://public-repo-1.hortonworks.com/HDP/hdp_urlinfo.json
This file returns the following content .. the HDP-2.2 section is missing hdp.repo at the end.

This seems to be such a simple change. Hope it gets fixed soon.
