In my 2.6.0 setup, txn ids appearing on namenode files are in three thousand range; like fsimage_003444, edits_003445-003468, edits_inprogress_003469, etc.
But, bin/hdfs secondarynamenode -geteditsize says “Namenode has 15826 uncheckpointed transactions”
1. How are txn id number related to uncheckpointed txns ?
2. Evern after restarting namenode, checkpointing or rolling edits, the uncheckpointed txn count does not reset to zero. Instead it always keeps increasing ….why ?
