dfs.datanode.data.dir to /home

Hello, when I try to append “/home/hdfs/data” to the dfs.datanode.data.dir property in Ambari, it tells me that I cannot start with “/home(s)”?

Why is this? I’d like to use the free space I have on my /home partition for HDFS.
