Services failing to start during Kerberos setup from Ambari

I am setting up Kerberos on HDP-2.2.2.4 using Ambari-2.0
I am facing the issue while Ambari starting the services during start and test step.
Namnode failing to start with below error….

FATAL namenode.NameNode (NameNode.java:main(1509)) – Failed to start namenode.
java.io.IOException: Login failure for nn/nn.example.com@EXAMPLE.COM from keytab /etc/security/keytabs/nn.service.keytab: javax.security.auth.login.LoginException: Receive timed out

I have checked if principal exists and it exists.
The key tab file is also available under /etc/security/keytabs directory

I tried to kinit the principal nn/nn.example.com as below…
kinit nn/nn.example.com@EXAMPLE.COM -k -t /etc/security/keytabs/nn.service.keytab
It was successful. Then tried tio manually start the namenode but still no luck.

I did not do any changes for teh default steps mentioned in Kereros set up procedure of Hortonworks.

Please let me know what would have went wrong
