First, sorry if I used the wrong section: i really don’t understand what should be the best fitting my problem.
My company lately switched to HDP from pure Hadoop 2.4, using Ambari, and everything works fine.
The only problem is, we used to run out own plugin for metrics2 framework for monitoring purpose:
we used to place the java plugin under $HADOOP_INSTALLATION_FOLDER/share/hadoop/common/lib/ and used some little configuration using the $HADOOP_INSTALLATION_FOLDER/etc/hadoop/hadoop-metrics2.properties.
Now under HDP Hadoop files are heavy distributed on the file system and there is even no common/lib folder at all.
Any Idea?
