am a beginner and started learning hadoop recently. I did download hdp sandbox 2.1 with oracle VMware. am able to opeb the hue ui http://12.0.0.1:XXXX. the problem comes when I try to use hadoop shell commands and create folders, though the commands create the folders. am unable to view them in hue ui file browser.
my assumption is folders and files created using the hadoop fs -mkdir commands , should be visible in the hue UI , file browser –>am I correct?
how to see the directories created through hadoop shell commands in hue UI.? any help greatly appreciated!
