The problem is solved. My datanode (I have only one now) still had the old version ( openssl-1.0.1e-15.el6.x86_64) of openssl. I thought I upgraded it but I didn’t. When I did rpm -qa | grep openssl I found out that I still had the old one. yum upgrade openssl did it for me.
