Reply To: NFS to HDFS Gateway error: User: hdfs is not allowed to impersonate root

after setting: hadoop.proxyuser.nfsserver.groups:*, did you start the NFS gateway as user “nfsserver”?
Suppose you start NFS gateway as the user “me”, the above property should be modified as: hadoop.proxyuser.me.groups
