Size of yarn containers

In in my Hadoop 2.0 cluster I see RAM minimum recommended size per container = 2GB, HDFS block size of 128 MB. It’s not too much to have 2Gb per 128Mb? These 128MB can fit there 15 times. Or may be one container can handle a few blocks?
