which JAR files are required for remote JDBC clients

Using 2.3.0.0-2557 have started the SPARK thriftserver. There does not appear to be any documentation on which collection of JAR files would be required for a remote client using a non-kerberized connection. For example, to use SQLSquirrel on Windows etc what would be the set of external JAR files etc
