I have have set up a HA cluster which is fully working without any problem.
My problem is that my client (a Java client) is using the name of my cluster as a variable. This name contains a “-” character which is not suitable for a Java variable.
My question is then : Is it possible to rename a cluster (actually a HA Nameservice)? From Ambari?
I tried to change it from the configuration files but when I restart the Namenode, I’m asked to format the namenode (which is not an option).
Thank you for your help. I assume that using a “-” was a bit stupid
