SSH Public Key

hi,

I am trying to install Ambari on my local pc. As per the doc (http://docs.hortonworks.com/HDPDocuments/Ambari-2.1.1.0/bk_Installing_HDP_AMB/content/_set_up_password-less_ssh.html)

2. Copy the SSH Public Key (id_rsa.pub) to the root account on your target hosts.

when put the two command listed under point 2. I get
bash: .ssh/id_rsa: No such file or directory

Can you please help.
