Reply To: 127.0.0.1:8888 does not brings up welcome screen

I had the same issue – http://127.0.0.1/ never worked for me no matter what port I used. Instead, I had to use the IP address assigned to my VM (you see it when you first startup the VM, otherwise you can run ifconfig on the VM to find out the IP address. Running that IP address on port 8888 shows the page you’re referring to, and running it on port 8000 shows the sandbox UI.
