Hello everybody,
Did anybody have success configuring ODBC connection from Excel to Hive (HDP 2.3) on OS X 10.11 El Capitan?
Even the new Hive ODBC Driver for HDP 2.3 (v2.0.5), found at http://hortonworks.com/hdp/addons/ , cannot be installed on the newest OS X. The installation fails with message: “This package is incompatible with this version of OS X and may fail to install.”.
Replies would be really appreciated!!
