I get the same java.lang.OutOfMemoryError as you had when running the average mpg script from Lab 2 2.6 section (http://hortonworks.com/hadoop-tutorial/hello-world-an-introduction-to-hadoop-hcatalog-hive-and-pig/#section_8).
I am using the A4 instance and am frustrated that so many errors seem to be occurring on what was claimed to be the “easy” or “pre-baked” tutorial toolkit.
