Reply To: HUE Errors

I have resolved a couple of misconfiguration and tool bar issues, the three remaining are:

Misconfiguration:
Beeswax (Hive UI) The application won’t work without a running HiveServer2.
As far as I can tell via Ambari, both Hive Metastore and HiveServer2 are running.

Tool Bar Errors:
QueryServerException at /beeswax/
Bad status for request TOpenSessionReq(username=’hue’, password=’hue’, client_protocol=4, configuration={‘hive.server2.proxy.user’: u’hdfs’}):

QueryServerException at /hcatalog/
Bad status for request TOpenSessionReq(username=’hue’, password=’hue’, client_protocol=4, configuration={‘hive.server2.proxy.user’: u’hdfs’}):

I am logged in Hue as user= hdfs
