Ranger 0.4.0 using Ambari 2.1 at HDP 2.2 in AWS

Hi

I have HDP 2.2, wanted to go for Ranger installation using Ambari so upgraded Ambari 1.7 to Ambari 2.1 , this went on fine

Now while installing Ranger it Errors while connecting to MySQL as root, but I can connect to mysql in the same server from shell
and the installation failed, with below erro message, while connecting to mysql in uses -h option

Execution of ‘mysql -u root –password=admin -h ip-171-33-37-216.us-west-2.compute.internal -s -e “select version();”‘ returned 1. ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user ‘root’@’ip-171-33-37-216.us-west-2.compute.internal’ (using password: YES)
