Regarding the incorrect filtering resuslts, I think you are hitting https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMBARI-13254.
You are encouraged to upgrade to Ambari 2.1.2.1: http://docs.hortonworks.com/HDPDocuments/Ambari-2.1.2.1/index.html
