I have enabled wire encryption for my HDP 2.1 installation using Ambari 1.6.1. The problem is the namenode and datanodes are not listening on the https ports. The config files are set correctly to use port 50470 for the namenode and 50475 for the datanodes. I also have dfs.https.enabled=true, basically everything configured as documented in http://docs.hortonworks.com/HDPDocuments/HDP2/HDP-2.0.6.0/bk_reference/content/ch_wire6.html. I can access the namenode and datanodes using the http ports (50070 and 50075 respectively) so it seems to me that even though https is enabled the services are starting up to listen on those ports. However the other services (Resource Manager, YARN, etc) are listening on their defined https ports. Any ideas?
