Reply To: Confirming and Registering Hosts fails, where is the setup script getting domain

Ok, I fixed getting to the name node by editing the /etc/ambari-agent/conf/ambari-agent.ini manually. I changed the first part of the file to look like this:
hostname=namenode.localdomain.com
url_port=8440
secured_url_port=8441
