Error post install accessing HDFS

Hello all,

We just installed HDP2.2 using Ambari on 2 node cluster. Post install, when trying to look at the files in HDFS using hadoop fs -ls / command, we get the below error in hadoop.distro –

/usr/hdp/2.2.0.0-2041//hadoop/bin/hadoop.distro: line 149: exec: : not found

The line that is erroring out is this:
exec “$JAVA” $JAVA_HEAP_MAX $HADOOP_OPTS $CLASS “$@”

We are able to see the HDFS folders and files using the Ambari GUI.

Kindly advise what could be wrong.
