Stuck with old hosts ip in ambari server

Hello all,

I hope you’re having a great day ! Because mine is like a headache. So what happened with my dear ambari?

1. I changed ip address of all my hosts (stop services/changed ip/restart)

2. I updated my /etc/hosts on each of my hosts. I restarted them all.

3. All my hosts are able to ping themselves, so I launch ambari-agent on each of them

4. I launched ambari server, and ambari can’t see my hosts… On the web gui, under tabs “hosts” : I will be able to see my hosts but without the right ip address and without the heartbeat (seems to have saved the old config…)

Have you any ideas how to resolve this issue ?

I can’t afford to lose any data/configs file. I took care to always use hostname instead of ip address. IP addresses are just in my etc/hosts/ to make the link.
